About the event

Webinar Title: Empowering Excellence: An Introduction to the HBCU Faculty Development Network

Join us for an inspiring and information-packed webinar presented by the HBCU Faculty Development Network (HBCU FDN), where legacy meets innovation. Discover how this dynamic organization continues to shape the academic landscape of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through a bold vision for faculty empowerment and institutional excellence.

We’ll begin by celebrating the powerful legacy of HBCUs and the Network’s own rich history of championing teaching, research, and service. Then, dive into the heart of our work—our vision for faculty development that puts student success, educational innovation, and impactful research at the forefront.

Explore key initiatives like our popular Lunch & Learn series, transformative Summer Institutes, and our flagship Annual Conference—this year themed "Turning Challenges into Opportunities." You'll get a sneak peek into how the Network equips faculty to thrive amid shifting technologies, funding landscapes, and evolving student needs.
